It’s good customer service – and it expands your market.
Like offering freight, you simply want to make sure your customer has trusted sources
to make buying as easy as possible.
If the buyer’s got it covered (“my buddy has a truck”) no problem, no discussion.
If you don’t offer financing, and the buyer does not have funding from a trusted source,
they’ll have to do extra work to buy from you – maybe they end up with a sub-standard
solution, or with your competitor.
You have a lot invested before sending a proposal (cold calls, marketing, trade shows,
advertising, samples, demo’s, and more).
Help yourself, and your customer, simply by adding payment options, or ‘financing available’.
If the customer chooses the option, all you have to say is “I’ll have KMC contact you”.
